Role at PTS: Provision of clinical guidance and administrative support to ensure that therapeutic services are delivered seamlessly, professionally and in compliance with all state and federal guidelines.

Degrees: Masters of Occupational Therapy & Bachelors of Health Science

Prior History: Working with the pediatric population providing treatment for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Downs Syndrome, Spinal Muscular Atrophy, Cerebral Palsy, Mobius Syndrome, Sensory Processing Disorder, and varying fine motor and visual motor integration deficits.  Diagnostician conducting evaluations within an arena diagnostic team for transitioning students in order to determine eligibility of services.

Interests and Motivation: Melissa is devoted to making a difference, for both the therapists who she works with and the children those therapists treat.  Part of that devotion is dedicated to making the therapy process as seamless and effective as possible for all parties involved.  Melissa views her role as that of a problem solver, serving as a valuable resource for therapists and teachers, alike, in order to determine appropriate services incorporating a best practice approach.
